How do I know if the location is suitable?
1. All Sizes are displayed on the website. Please allow at least 2 feet of space free to each side of the castle plus 5 feet to the rear of the castle for the blower unit and 3 feet to the front of the castle for mats. If you are unsure please make sure you measure your garden / castle location. If our drivers arrive and the area is unsuitable for any reason your deposit will be kept to cover time spent on location.
2. The ground must be reasonably level.
3. We must have at least a 'doors width' access from the vehicle drop off point to the location where the bouncy castle is to be positioned. If access is blocked we cannot deliver.
4. There must be a suitable mains power point within 25 metres of the rear of the bouncy castle, otherwise an extra extension lead will be required.
Where are you based?
we are based in Portsmouth and we deliver to the hole of Portsmouth and Portsmouth surrounding areas
Can the castles be used inside? What is the minimum room height?
Bouncy castles can be used inside provided there is sufficient room. The height of the room must be a minimum of 9ft To 10ft 6 ins depending on size of castle.
Is there an age limit for using the castles?
Children using the bouncy castles must not be older than 14 years.
Over 14 years must be on an Adults Castle (Please see our Adults Castle tab to view the range).
What happens if it rains on the day of the hire?
Castles should not be used in very windy conditions (over 25mph) as they will become dangerous. If it is very wet or windy on the day of hire you can re-schedule to another available date free of charge. We must be notified of your intension to reschedule your booking due to adverse weather condition ideally 24 hours beforehand however, before 8am on the day of hire will be acceptable. In addition, Solent Bubbles and Bounce reserve the right to cancel any hires due to extreme weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Do you have insurance?
We have 5 million pounds Public Liability Insurance. A copy of our policy is available for inspection if requested. The hirer of the equipment is responsible for adult supervision of the children at all times.
What happens on the day of the hire?
We will arrive at the agreed time and check that the location is suitable. Once we are happy the hirer will need to sign our Terms and Conditions and provide photo identification. We will then install the bouncy castle ourselves and confirm it is safe to use. We will give advice and instructions to the hirer. Payment is required at the time of delivery , at the end of the event we will collect the bouncy castle.

Our bouncy castles are manufactured to the highest safety standard by leading British Manufacturers and comply with Health and Safety Legislations. Our castles and equipment are regularly checked and we will check and assess all equipment when setting up at your booking.
